Growing

The performer does not follow musical directions or bring any interpretation to the piece. The performer has poor breath support.
Fair

The performer sings what is on the page but does not add anything musical to the song. The performer exhibits decent breath support.
Good

The performer sings the piece correctly with a good dynamic range and some phrasing, but perhaps does not make the song their own.They exhibit good breath support.
Exceptional

The performer brings themselves into the song through interpretation, dynamics, phrasing. The performer also exhibits good breath support.
