Major Scale Rubric
	100 4 pts	90 3 pts	80 2 pts	70 1 pts
Tone Quality	100 Rich, warm, full, focused tone absent of bow shake with much expression	90 Warm, full, focused tone with minor bow shake with some expression	80 Average tone without expression	70 Timid and weak tone .
Intonation	100 Accuracy in all notes	90 One pitch missed with accurate intonation.	80 Two pitches missed with acceptable intonation.	70 Three or more pitches missed with incorrect intonation.
Pulse and Rhythm	100 Steady pulse is maintained at a tempo characteristic of high quality playing.	90 Steady pulse is somewhat maintained at a tempo characteristic of decent playing.	80 Steady pulse is hardly perceivable at a tempo characteristic of adequate playing.	70 Steady pulse is absent at a tempo characteristic of poor playing
