	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Classification of Constellations	Poor Student not being able to identify what time of year each major constellation is found. They have no knowledge on what the term "circumpolar" means.	Fair Student able to recognize a few constellations and what time of year they appear.	Good Students are able to identify what time of year all the constellations appear in the sky. Also have knowledge on circumpolar constellations.
Identification of Constellations	Poor Students would not be able to recognize constellations in the night sky. Would not be able to identify any key stars to help navigate themselves.	Fair Students would be able to identify about half of the major constellations in their night time sky.	Good Students could go outside and identify the major constellations. They could use key stars to locate different constellations.
Information on Constellations	Poor Students can not give any information on constellations whether it is facts or myths.	Fair Students could list a few facts on the constellations but only brief information.	Good Students are very knowledgeable on each of the constellations. Understanding facts and the myths that go along with them.
