Student manages and evaluates their behaviors as group members; student deals with disagreements and conflict caused by diversity of opinions the majority of the time. They show compassion toward the needs of others and have a personal commitment to service.
Acceptable
Student shows caring the majority of the time. Very few verbal arguments with students and no altercations with staff.
Fair
Student demonstrates some characteristics of empathy and caring towards other students and staff at least 50% of the time.
Unacceptable
Student makes no attempt to show empathy toward peers or adults.
Accountability
Excellent
Student takes ownership of their learning and their abilities, and sets goals for their destination. They take pride in their work and in working with others.They work diligently to complete assignments and tasks without complaint or compromise, but with pride.
Acceptable
Student shows potential in improving on organization and other work habits. They complete quality work with pride 75% of the time.
Fair
Student completes classwork most of the time but need prodding and reminding to complete quality work. 50%
Unacceptable
Student completes little to no work with limited effort. They turn in work other than their personal best.

Excellent
Student generates new and creative ideas by taking considered risk in a variety of contexts. Student chooses to lead by example and is constantly trying to improve.
Acceptable
Student takes some risks and attempts to complete critical thinking tasks 75% of the time. They consistently show improvement in leadership skills.
Fair
Student makes some effort to take risks and think critically. However they do not persevere and give up before completing tasks 50% of the time.
Unacceptable
Student makes no effort to innovate with materials or group members. They are quick to give up or do not attempt critical thinking tasks.
Principled
Excellent
Student acts with integrity and honesty, with a strong sense of justice and respect for the dignity of groups and communities. They take responsibilities for their own actions and the consequences that accompany them.
Acceptable
Student has and shows potential as a leader the majority of the time. They do the right thing in a variety of situations 75% of the time.
Fair
Student takes ownership of responsibilities some of the time. They normally do the right thing when people are looking. 50%
Unacceptable
Student makes no effort to assist others and serve others.
