Team Handball

Passing	Excellent Always makes short, quick, accurate passes to teammates or partners. Uses Correct form all of the time.	Proficient Mostly makes short, quick, accurate passes to teammates or partners. Uses correct form majority of the time.	Developing Sometimes makes short, quick, accurate passes to teammates or partners. Uses correct form some of the time.	Beginner Rarely passes to teammates or partners when playing, or passes are inaccurate and incomplete. Does not use correct form at all.
Catching	Excellent Always uses both hands successfully when receiving the ball from a teammate or partner. Uses Correct form all of the time.	Proficient Sometimes, uses both hands successfully when receiving the ball from a teammate or partner.<BR> Uses correct form majority of the time.	Developing Mostly uses one hand when receiving the ball from a teammate or partner, and often drops the ball.<BR> Uses correct form some of the time.	Beginner Only uses one hand when receiving the ball from a teammate or partner, and often drops the ball.<BR> Does not use correct form at all.
Dribbling	Excellent Student can dribble and control the handball with wither hand, and does not double dribble. Uses Correct form all of the time.	Proficient Student can dribble the ball with either hand, but sometimes has difficulty controlling the ball. Uses correct form majority of the time.	Developing Student can sometimes dribble and control the handball, but is only able to dribble with one hand and at times double dribbles. Uses correct form some of the time.	Beginner Student cannot dribble or control the handball with either hand. Does not use correct form at all.
Throwing	Excellent Jumps and throws using one hand and steps with the opposite foot, landing in the 6 meter zone. Uses enough force to make it to the target all of the time. Uses Correct form all of the time.	Proficient Jumps and throws using one hand and steps with the opposite foot, sometimes landing in the 6 meter zone. Uses some force to make it to the target the majority of the time. Uses correct form majority of the time.	Developing Throws with one hand without stepping towards their target and uses enough force to make it all the way to the target half of the time. Uses correct form some of the time.	Beginner Throws with two hands without stepping towards their target and doesn't use enough force to make it all the way to the target none of the time. Does not use correct form at all.
Game Play	Excellent Always interprets and explains Team Handball rules and terminology accurately. Participates actively and enthusiastically following safety rules and maintaining good sportsmanship. Works cooperatively with other team members.	Proficient Often interprets and explains Team Handball rules and terminology accurately. Participates actively, follows safety rules and maintains good sportsmanship. Works cooperatively with other team members.	Developing Sometimes misinterprets Team Handball rules and terminology. Participates, follows most safety rules and maintains good sportsmanship. Needs to improve cooperation with other team members.	Beginner Often misinterprets Team Handball rules and terminology. Participates reluctantly or with a poor attitude, does not follow safety rules and does not maintain good sportsmanship. Shows very little cooperation with other team members.
