With a high degree of effectiveness, is able identify characteristics that describe physical and chemical changes of matter with extensive detail.	Level 3 Student is able to identify if a chemical or physical change has taken place. With considerable effectiveness, is able identify characteristics that describe physical and chemical changes of matter detail.	Level 2 Student is able to somewhat identify if a chemical or physical change has taken place. With some effectiveness, is able to identify characteristics that describe either the physical or chemical change of matter, but is lacking detail.	Level 1 Student is not able to identify if a chemical or physical change has taken place.
