Communication Styles Group Skits Communication Styles Group Skits Students will demonstrate the different types of communication styles. Students are working in groups of 2-3 students. Students must prepare a brief skit (30 seconds to 1 minute) that deals with the scenario in a Passive, Assertive, Aggressive manner. Each group will have ten minutes to write their skits and should be prepared to act out their skits. While the skits are being performed, class members are to observe and determine which method of communication was exhibited. Communication Styles Standard 4 Students will demonstrate the ability to use interpersonal communication skills to enhance health and avoid or reduce health risks. Standard 7 Students will demonstrate the ability to practice health enhancing behaviors and avoid or reduce health risks.

Presentation Group members' skit clearly demonstrates students understanding of the three (3) different communication styles: Assertive, Passive, & Aggressive. Others are able to identify the three communication styles.	Excellent Students demonstrated mastery in understanding and portraying the three communication styles.	Average Students demonstrated proficiency in understanding and portraying the three communication styles.	Needs Improvment Students failed to demonstrate understanding and portraying the three communication styles.
Effort Group members demonstrated effort in completing assignment in a timely manner and the ability to remain focused to complete the task.	Excellent Group members used their time effectively and remained on task to complete assignment in timely manner.	Average Group members somewhat used their time effectively and remained on task part of the time.	Needs Improvment Group members did not use their time effectively and did not remain on task to complete assignment.
