Graphic organizers	Poor Missing most of the graphic organizers or they are done poorly.	Fair Missing some of the graphic organizers or only partially complete.	Good Contains nearly all of the graphic organizers. They are complete, but could have been done better.	Excellent Contains all of the graphic organizers and they are well done.
Summaries	Poor Missing most the lesson summaries or they are done poorly.	Fair Missing some of the lesson summaries or only partially complete.	Good Contains nearly all of the lesson summaries, but they could have been done better.	Excellent Contains all of the lesson summaries in 1-2 sentences and they are well done.
Vocabulary	Poor Missing most of the vocabulary or they are done poorly.	Fair Missing some of the vocabulary or only partially complete.	Good Contains nearly all of the vocabulary, but could have been done better.	Excellent Contains all of the vocabulary and they are well done.
Organization	Poor No apparent order.	Fair Some assignments are kept in order.	Good Most assignments are dated and kept in chronological order.	Excellent All assignments are dated and kept in order. Each entry is labeled with the number and title of the lesson. This notebook is very easy to follow.
Presentation	Poor Notebook is completely messy and/or illegible.	Fair Notebook is written in a sloppy fashion that is hard to read.	Good Notebook entries look ok, but could have been done neater and made to show more pride and ability.	Excellent This notebook is easy to read and is extremely neat.
