Oral Conversation Rubric Oral Conversation Rubric Oral conversation for semester grade. Length of the conversation must be a minimum of 6 minutes seniors and 4 minutes juniors. CONTENT	Exceeds Expectations Shows a full understanding of the topic. Speaker has a large vocabulary to support the conversation to the time limit.	Meets Expectations Shows a good understanding of the topic. Speaker has some vocabulary.	Does not Meet Expectation Shows a fair understanding of parts of the topic. Speaker struggles with finding the appropriate words for the conversation.
SPEAKS CLEARLY	Exceeds Expectations Speaks clearly and distinctly all (100 -95%) of the time, and mispronounces no words.	Meets Expectations Speaks clearly and distinctly all (100 -95%) of the time, and mispronounces one word.	Does not Meet Expectation Speaks clearly and distinctly all (94-85%) of the time, and mispronounces no more than one word.
PREPAREDNESS	Exceeds Expectations Speaker is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed. Speaker manages the conversation with the teacher with no hesitation.	Meets Expectations Speaker seems pretty prepared but might have needed a couple of more rehearsals. Speaker manages the conversation with the teacher with some difficulty.	Does not Meet Expectation Speaker is somewhat prepared but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking. Speaker struggles with the conversation with the teacher with great difficulty.
Message is communicated	Exceeds Expectations Student is understood 90% of the time and meaning is conveyed accurately.	Meets Expectations Student is understood some of the time and some meaning is lost.	Does not Meet Expectation Student is difficult to understand and the meaning is lost.
Seniors	Exceeds Expectations The conversation contains present, pretérito perfecto and future tense in the conversation.	Meets Expectations The conversation only contained 2 of the 3 tenses	Does not Meet Expectation The entire conversation is only in the present tense.
