Rubric Code: HA8923
Working in pairs, choose a question to focus on and find data on that question. Tally your observations and present this in a bar graph, pie graph, line graph, dot plot and/or stem-and-leaf plot. Summarise your findings, using calculations and discuss possible conclusions you can draw from the findings. Record future questions and possible further investigations. Present your information in the form of a report including graphs and include an introduction, findings and conclusions.

Little to no depth of analysis. The summary of findings is not evident. Does not reach reasonable conclusions

Summarise findings, using calculations when necessary. Reach conclusions as a result of collecting data.
Good

Discuss findings in depth, using appropriate calculations to add depth to the discussion. Reach a strong conclusion of what the data shows. Discuss possible future questions, studies and/or patterns from the collected data and findings.

Poor

Presentation is poor/ messy.
Fair

Presentation is satisfactory. Text and images are clear. Appropriate use of headings: introduction, findings and conclusion.
Good

Presentation is exceptional. Great use of visuals. Text is clear and an appropriate size. Suitable use of colour and space. Uses the headings: introduction, findings and conclusion to give report structure.
