1.Had oximeter and knew how to use equipment.
2. Did not verify and remove nail polish prior to taking the reading.
3. Required some cues from instructor.

1. Had equipment ready, pt's hands clean and checked for nail polish,
2. Was able to use pulse oximeter effectively and got correct reading.
