Technique	Exceeds Expectation Student uses the instep of their foot to pass the ball all the time and does not use their toe.	Meet Expectations Student uses the instep of their foot for most of their passes and use their toe for some passes.	Developing Student always uses their toe to pass the ball. They do not use the instep of their foot.	Beginning Student inconsistently demonstrates proper techniques when passing.
Accuracy	Exceeds Expectation Student passes the ball directly to their partner and their partner does not have to move to get the ball more than a few times	Meet Expectations Student's partner has to take a few steps to get the ball after the pass and occasionally has to chase after the ball after an inaccurate pass.	Developing Student's partner is consistently chasing the ball after an inaccurate pass .	Beginning Student inconsistently demonstrates proper accuracy when passing.
