After considering the various aspects of the characters life, the students will PreWrite (Rough Draft) about a relevant event relating to that character. Venn Diagram	Poor The Venn Diagram was not completed or completed with very little details. They do not have a good grasp of their character.	Fair The Venn Diagram has some details but comparisons are few. Shows that they have a little understanding of their chosen character.	Good Most of Venn Diagram is completed and shows they understand their character.	Very Good The Venn Diagram has been completed with enough detail to show they have a good grasp of their character.
PreWriting	Poor Assignment is poorly written. Hard to understand. Does not explain chosen character. Little or no details included. Includes no personal thoughts or reflection.	Fair Assignment is written with some details but still hard to completely understand. A few details included. Includes one personal thoughts or reflection.	Good Assignment is easy to read and it tells about the chosen character. Some parts are still a little hard to grasp, but it does not take away from the entire paper. Some details included. Includes two or more personal thoughts or reflections.	Very Good Assignment is very well written.
