Needs work Student can name 1 of the items needed.	Good Student can name all of the items needed.	Excellent Students can explain the what the plants need and why.
Plant Parts Student can identify the basic parts of plants, roots, stem, flower, leaves.	Does Not Understand Student cannot identify any parts of the plant.	Needs work Student can identify two parts of a plant.	Good Student can identify all parts of the plants.	Excellent Student can illustrate and explain the parts of a plant and their uses.
Plant Life Cycle Student can clearly explain the life cycle of plants.	Does Not Understand Student cannot explain the life cycle of a plant.	Needs work Student can tell 1-2 stages of the life cycle.
