Paper Mache Mask Plaster Mask Mardi Gras Mask Project: French 1 studied Francophone Carribean countries and their celebration of Mardi Gras. Creativity	Excellent Entirely original, authentic design, student used many strong symbols that represent himself/herself. The embellishments add to the mask design.	Satisfactory Most of the mask elements are unique and authentic but looks a bit predictable. The student used a many symbols to represent him/her self. The embellishments add to the mask, but could use a little more attention.	Fair Some aspects of the mask are unique, but several elements are plain or ordinary. The student used a few symbols to represent himself/herself. The student add embellishments but the embellishments need attention.	Unsatisfactory No evidence of original or authentic design. The student didn't use symbols to represent himself/herself. Missed to point of the project. The embellishments distract from the mask design.
