Writing the ABC's	Outstanding Outstanding The student is able to write the upper and lower case letters of the alphabet with distinction.	Developing Developing The student is able to write most letters of the upper and lower case of the alphabet.	Fair Fair Student is able to write some of the lower and upper case alphabet.	Poor Poor Student is not able to write any letters of the alphabet with distinction.
Writing Name	Outstanding Outstanding Student can print his/her first name legibly with the capital letter as the beginning letter followed by lower case letters.	Developing Developing The student can write most of their first name legibly with one error in distinction or error in capital vs. lower case distinction.	Fair Fair The student is not able to write his first name legibly with more than one error.	Poor Poor The student is using strokes as letters.
