Classification & Counting
	Poor 20 pts	Fair 25 pts	Good 30 pts	Excellent 35 pts
Sorting	Poor Student is unable to sort objects by any one group or classification.	Fair Student is able to match similar objects (by size, shape, color, or quantity).	Good Student is able to sort objects into two groups based on size, shape, color, and/or quantity.	Excellent Student is able to sort objects into three or more groups based on size, shape, color, and/or quantity.
Counting	Poor Student is unable to count.	Fair Student is able to count from 1-10.	Good Student is able to count up to 20.	Excellent Student is able to count up to 100.
Compare & Measure	Poor Student is unable to compare or measure items by any discerning factors.	Fair Student is able to compare or measure items by one discerning factor (size, weight, or quantity).	Good Student is able to compare or measure items by two discerning factors (size, weight, or quantity).	Excellent Student is able to compare or measure items by three or more discerning factors (size, weight, or quantity).
