Representation of Phenomena	Excellent Dance accuratley conveys the processes responsible for the formation of geographic feature.	Good Dance does a fair job representing scientific phenomena with little clarification.	Needs Improvement Dance does not fully represent scientific phenomena. Needs clarification after performance.	Poor Dance does not represent scientific phenomena. It lacks meaning and direction.
Movement Knowledge	Excellent Dancers know the movement extremely well. They are confident and don't need to follow anyone else. Dancers have a great sense of timing & direction.	Good Dancers know the movement fairly well. They keep together, and have a fairly good sense of timing & direction. A few mistakes made.	Needs Improvement Dancers are somewhat unprepared and unsure of the choreography. There is some sense of timing or direction.	Poor Dancers are unprepared and unsure of the choreography. There is no sense of timing or direction.
Elements	Excellent Strong and consistent evidence that the dancers not only understand the elements of dance, but are able to use the elements to add interest and variety to their dance.	Good All of the elements of dance are present and the dancers understand what they are.	Needs Improvement Some of the elements of dance are present. Dancers do not clearly understand what the elements of dance are.	Poor Dance Did not include any of the elements of dance.
Teamwork	Excellent Strong evidence that group worked as team. All members participate and demonstrate personal skill and knowledge.	Good Good evidence that group worked as team. All members participate and demonstrate personal skill and knowledge.	Needs Improvement Dancers show some evidence for working as a team. Not all students represented or participating.	Poor Dancers do not act as team. Not all students participating. Clear division amongst members.
