Reasoning	Poor -only a few simple ideas are connected to the topic -few supporting details	Fair -simple ideas are sometimes connected to the topic -some supportive details but not enough to clarify the events being recounted	Good -ideas are connected to the topic -sufficient supporting details that clarify the events being recounted	Excellent -well developed indeas connected to the topic -many supporting details that enhance the events being recounted
