The story is well written, the writer has used unique style and organized the story effectively in a way that creates suspense.	Good Story has a beginning, middle, and end. The story is effective, however the writer could have used additional writing elements to better support and organize the story, to greater create suspense.	Fair Story is missing key elements in the structure (missing a beginning, middle or end) or is lacking organization to help the story flow. The story is lacking suspense.	Poor Story does not have beginning, middle or end. Poorly organized lacking all structure.
Characterization	Excellent Story has well developed characters who are distinct and memorable.	Good Characters are identifiable in the writing, but do not have a clear voice.	Fair Characters are not easily identified in the story. The characters lack a strong voice or presence throughout the story.	Poor Characters are not identified in the story.
