Group Discussion	Poor Did not participate in the discussions, and distracted others from participating. Teacher gave prompts to help student get on task.	Fair Student participated very little. Had to be prompted but didn't distract others from discussion	Good Student sat quietly and contributed to the discussion.	Excellent Student was in to the lesson, always had something to contribute. Teacher didn't have to prompt.
Videos	Poor Student didn't pay attention to the videos that were played. Student distracted others from watching. Teacher had to prompt student.	Fair Student paid very little attention to the videos but didn't disturb others from watching the video.	Good Student sat quietly and watched the video.	Excellent Student was focused on the video and ignored anything else in the classroom.
Experiments	Poor Student played with the supplies and didn't follow directions. Teacher had to prompt student more than 5 times to get on task.	Fair Student used the materials but didn't follow directions to correctly do the experiment.	Good Student followed directions for experiment, only had to be prompted once for on task behaviors.	Excellent Student did the experiment correctly and didn't have to be prompted at all.
Computer usage	Poor Student sat at the computer but wasn't able to get into his/her online journal.	Fair Student could get on the computer but needed help getting into the journal.	Good Student was able to get into the computer and on their journal page with only one reminder/cue.	Excellent Student didn't need any help getting to his/her journal page.
Information	Poor Student didn't add any information to their journal.	Fair Student only added one concept/idea to his/her journal.	Good Student was able to write about sound and what they learned.	Excellent Student was able to describe how sound travels and how we are able to hear.
Writing	Poor Student didn't form any sentences.	Fair Student was able to write sentences but had many errors.	Good Student wrote complete sentences with few errors.	Excellent Student wrote complete sentences with no errors.
