Students are to advocate for homeless people in their community. They are to then write an advocacy letter for change, carefully considering their audience and using primary and secondary information as evidence to support their arguments. They must have an appropriate call to action and correct business letter format. The letter will be sent via e-mail to the editor of a local newspaper.
