Reading Comprehension Essay Questions Reading Comprehension Questions Students are required to answer comprehension questions after class readings. Answers must be written in complete sentences. Comprehension	Novice Student did not answer more than half of the questions correctly.	Apprentice Student answered (50%) at least half of the comprehension questions correctly.	Practitioner Student answered all (100%)comprehension questions correctly.
Language	Novice The student did not answer any of the questions with complete sentences. There are more than 3 errors in spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.	Apprentice The student answered at least 50% half of the comprehesion questions with complete sentences. There are 1-2 errors in spelling, capitalization and punctuation.	Practitioner The student answered all questions with complete sentences. There are no errors in spelling, capitalization, and punctuation.
Text Support	Novice The student made no attempt to use information from the text to support their answers.	Apprentice The student made a minimal attempt to use details from the text to support their answers.	Practitioner The student used sufficient details from the text to support their answers.
