The Ad	Exceptional We know everything about the ad: the content of the ad, how it uses the rhetorical appeals, the context of the ad or the forces that have shaped it, the audience the ad is aimed at, who created it, and when and where the ad ran. In addition, the information is presented skillfully and fluently.	OK Most of the information is presented. The delivery is organized and audible. The visual presentation is clear.	Back to the drawing board Some essential information is either missing, or garbled in the presentation.
The Context	Exceptional The speaker or group has explalined the context for the ad. We understand the forces that shaped the ad.	OK We understand either the ad campaign, or how the competitors have created their ads, or how the company that has created the subject ad has changed over time.
