Parts of Speech Poster 
Each student will create a poster identifying the parts of speech. Each poster must include all eight parts of speech. For each part of speech, there must be a definition of the part of speech, at least two examples of that part of speech used correctly in different sentences and an illustration that depicts a consistent theme on the entire poster.

Poster appears rushed for completion; messy writing, lack of color or consistent color, or too much color so it's overdone and gaudy in appearance.
Meets Standard

Poster appears somewhat unbalanced due to lack of content, very small writing/drawing, or lack of color. Too much white space. Demonstrates adequate creativity and attention and to detail.
Exemplary

Content is spaced so it covers the majority of the poster in a balanced manner. Color is used and compliments the appearance. Writing is neat and legible. Illustrations enhance the poster's content and are consistent with the theme selected.
