A logical pace and sequence is not present in the student's presentation, it is difficult to understand his presentation
Fair

There is some sequence and logical flow in the students presentation, but the student jumps around, making it difficult to follow his train of thought
Good

Student presents his information in logical sequence with good pace, and the audience can understand the presentation.
Excellent

Student presents information in a very sophisticated manner, that follows a logical flow and sequence that makes sense and is easy to follow
Topic Knowledge

Poor

Student does not have grasp of information, does not understand the topic, and cannot answer questions about subject.
Fair

Student knows little information and is able to answer little to no questions.
Good

Student has a good understanding of the topic and answers all questions, but fails to elaborate.
Excellent

Student demonstrates full mastery of the topic and answers all class questions with explanations and thorough elaboration.
Graphics and Photos

Poor

Student uses little to no graphics, or uses photos that are irrelevant to the topic.
Fair

Student may sometimes use graphics that follows his presentation and provides visual aid for unclear topics.
Good

Student's utilizes graphics to relate to text and presentation.
Excellent

Student's graphics explain and reinforce his text and presentation.
Eye Contact

Poor

Student reads all of his report word for word with no eye contact with the audience .
Fair

Student occasionally uses eye contact with the audience, but still reads most of report and has trouble without his report/notes.
Good

Student maintains eye contact with the audience most of the time but frequently returns to notes.
Excellent

Student maintains eye contact with the audience, only using notes when necessary.
Speech

Poor

Student mumbles, is difficult to understand, pronounces terms incorrectly, and is too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.
Fair

Student has an insufficiently loud voice. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.
Good

Student's voice is clear and easy to understand. Most audience members can hear presentation.
Excellent

Student uses a clear voice and all audience members can hear his presentation.
Participation

Poor

Student does not answer questions from the audience, or has a difficult time responding to answers and does not elaborate
Fair

Student answers all questions from the audience, but lacks elaboration
Good

The student answers all class questions and elaborates
Excellent

The student answers all the questions from the audience and gives precise, elaborate explanations that are easy to follow and make sense
Evidence (programs)

Poor

Student does not have examples to show or visualize concepts that he talks about in his presentation
Fair

Student is able to show some examples of concepts with programs that he made
Good

Student is able to show detailed examples of concepts and ideas by the use of programs that the student designed
Excellent

The student is able to show in depth, thorough explanations with programs that he himself designed that relate to his presentation
