This rubric provides a standard and consistent way to grade typing across student abilities. 	Unable to Finish Test 84 pts	5+ Pts Below Grade Proficiency 86 pts	Below Grade Level Proficiency 92 pts	Grade Level Proficient 100 pts
Words Per Minute (WPM)	Unable to Finish Test If a student is unable to finish their typingweb.com certification test. They will receive a grade of 84.	5+ Pts Below Grade Proficiency Student is 5 or more points below the 25 WPM Grade level expectation on their typingweb.com certification test. Grade begins at 86 for 20 WPM, and drops 1 point for every WPM below that.	Below Grade Level Proficiency Student is below the 25 WPM Grade level expectation on their typingweb.com certification test. Grade begins at 92 for 24 WPM, 91 for 23 WPM, 90, for 22 WPM, 89 for 21 WPM	Grade Level Proficient Student meets or exceeds the 25 WPM Grade level expectation on their typingweb.com certification test
