	Inexperienced 1 pts	Developing 2 pts	Proficient 3 pts
Phoneme Isolation	Inexperienced Unable to identify/ name sounds at the beginning, middle, or end of words with at least 60% accuracy.	Developing Correctly identifies isolated sounds within words with at least 60% accuracy, but consistently struggles in one or more areas (ex: ending sounds).	Proficient Correctly identifies beginning, middle, and ending sounds of spoken words with 100% accuracy.
Phoneme Substitution	Inexperienced Unable to substitute (orally manipulate) sounds between two or more words with at least 60% accuracy.	Developing Correctly substitutes (orally manipulates) sounds between two or more words with at least 60% accuracy.	Proficient Correctly substitutes (orally manipulates) sounds between two or more words with 100% accuracy.
Phoneme Segmentation	Inexperienced Unable to identify the number of sounds (phonemes) in words, with at least 60% accuracy.	Developing Correctly identifies the number of sounds (phonemes) in words with at least 60% accuracy.	Proficient Correctly identifies the number of sounds (phonemes) in words with 100%accuracy.
