It is not in the author's best handwriting, but can be read.The main idea is labeled but the graphic organizer seems cluttered making the main idea difficult to identify.	Comprehension The main idea is a complete thought and is clearly visible on the graphic organizer in neat handwriting. It is labeled and easy to identify.
Supporting Details	Basic The graphic organizer contains 1 supporting detail, or the details included do not support the main idea.The handwriting is messy and makes the graphic organizer difficult to read.	Profcient The graphic organizer contains 2 supporting details from the text but they may not be the most supportive evidence from the text The details are labeled but may be messy and difficult to read.	Comprehension The graphic organizer has 3 supporting details from the text. The supporting details are strong evidence of the main idea proving it true. The details are clearly defined with text specific information. The details are labeled and easy to see on the graphic organizer .
