Jello Plant and Animal Cells Jello Plant and Animal Cells Students will use food items to create a model of a Plant Cell and Animal Cells. Students will be able to describe what each part of a cell does inside the cell. Students will describe the organelles and what diffferences their are between Animal and Plant cells. Functions of Orginelles	Outstanding Student understood the parts of the cell and what each organelle does in the cell.	Good Student understood most of the parts of the cell and what each organelle does in the cell.	Fair Student understood some of the parts of the cell and what each organelle does in the cell.	Poor Student understood few of the parts of the cell and what each organelle does in the cell.
Blue print model	Outstanding Student showed outstanding organization in his/her model and covered all the requirements.	Good Student showed some organization in his/her model and covered most of the requirements.	Fair Student showed little organization in his/her model and covered only a few of the requirements.	Poor Student showed no organization in his/ her model and did not cover the requirements.
Number of Food Products Used	Outstanding Student used different food items for each part of the cell.	Good Student reused one food item for the parts of the cells.	Fair Student reused more than one food item for the parts of the cells.	Poor Student did not have all the parts of the cells or mentioned the incorrect parts.
Pesentation	Outstanding Students did an outstanding job presenting his/her cell. There were no errors in the presentation.	Good Student did a good job presenting his/her cell. There were few errors in the presentation.	Fair Student did a fair job presenting his/her cell. There were several errors in the presentation.	Poor Student did not do well presenting his/her cell. There were numerous errors in presentation.
