Podcast Rubric Students will create podcast about a musical hero that include information of their life and why they are a hero. iMovie will be used to make the podcast using artwork and recorded script and music. Podcast Music Hero.

Research/Information	Below Basic very little information is provided and /or not clear and well thought-out	Basic Only a few facts are provided and/or not clear or well thought-out	Proficient Vital Statistics and Musical Hero information are provided and in a coherent and clear way.	Exceeds Extra bonus information is provided about the Hero above and beyond the expected.
Technical aspect/Podcast set up	Below Basic Only a couple of pieces of art work are provided and not timed to topic. Not interesting. Script is not understood. Speech is broken or incoherent. Less than 30sec long	Basic Some artwork is provided but not always timed to the topic at hand. Fewer changes are provided. Script is fairly ordered but somewhat murky in speech. 30-60 second long	Proficient Artwork works well with the script and follows the order of topic. It is timed to match the script. Script is clearly spoken with phrases and sentence starts and endings clear and smooth. The entire script is easily understood. At least 1-2 minutes long.	Exceeds Artwork is very creative and interesting and frequently change with the text. script is clear and read expressively. Dramatic reading Over 2 minutes in length.
Music Concepts	Below Basic Students did not provide a recorder music sample of the hero.	Basic Some attempt at learning the recorder song was seen but was not the correct pitches or rhythms of the song.	Proficient Student correctly learned to play a small selection of their Heros' music on recorder and it was recognizable as the song. Background music added to product to underscore the script.	Exceeds Same as level three but also added background music to underscore the script. The underscoring did not detract from the story. Other music concepts added.
