Shows a basic level of understanding for poem structure.	Good Meets the basic requirements of 21 poems. Displays a proficient level of understanding for poem structure.	Excellent Contains 21 poems. Properly displays poem structure.
Presentation/ Organization	Poor Handwriting is unclear and illegible. Poems are not clearly labeled and distinguishable.	Fair Poems are not labeled and organized properly. Notebook does not contain a table of content.	Good Student contains a table of content. Notebook is organized and able to be understood.	Excellent Contains a table of content that is organized and able to be read clearly.
Creativity	Poor Original work is not contained inside notebook. Poems lack imagination.	Fair Poems contain little to no original work. Poems used display limited imagination or inventiveness.
