Poetic Term Research Project Poetic Term Research Project When asked to complete a research project (POSTER, PowerPoint, Glogster, or PREZI)l for a poetic device, the students will: an example of the device with a picture and its correct definition; find two examples in literature, music or television and cite the source in correct MLA formation. Definition/Example	Excellent Example accurately represents the term and it's definition. The picture shows what the word means and does a good job of illustrating the word.	Developing Example is close, but does not represent the term completely accurately. There is a picture, but it doesn't provide the clear meaning of the target word.	Unacceptable Example is incorrect. There is no picture or the picture does not illustrate the meaning of the target word.
Works Cited	Excellent All sources properly cited at the bottm of relevant pages/ Almost zero or no errors in format or punctuation.	Developing Not all sources properly cited at bottom of relevant pages/ Multiple errors in format or punctuation	Unacceptable Sources not properly cited. Many errors in format or punctuation. OR no works cited.
Example for Literature	Excellent Researched example accurately represents the term and it's definition	Developing Research example is close, but does not represent the term completely accurately.	Unacceptable Research example is incorrect.
