occlusion rims Height: 22 mm from the anterior labial flange to the incisal edge and the mandibular rims is 15 to 18mm from the anterior border to the incisal edge and continues posteriorly parallel to the record base. Posterior ends of maxillary rim taper 45 degrees angle and ends 8 mm short of the posterior border of the record base

Completely flat parallel to the base of the cast

Occlusal rims ends more or less than 8 mm from posterior border of record base

Occlusal rims are not firmly attached to the record bases,or are not centered over the ridges or excessively malpositioned in relationship to underlying ridges
