Oral/PP Presentation of Deaf Awareness Week Topic Oral/PP Presentation Students will give an oral presentation of the information gathered through research on a topic concerning deafness and create a power point presentation to be delivered to the class for evaluation. 	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Delivery	Poor Student does not appear to know about the topic and is not able to be clear and well spoken during the presentation.	Fair Student appears to understand some facts about the topic but can't explain it clearly.	Good Student appears to understand the topic but the facts seem to be somewhat confusing and/or redundant.	Excellent Student has researched the topic and is clear and well spoken about the topic during the presentation.
Eye Contact	Poor Student has no eye contact with the audience.	Fair Student has some eye contact with the audience but looks away or down 50 % of the time.	Good Student has good eye contact with audience 75% of the time.	Excellent Student has eye contact with the audience 100 % of the time.
Attractiveness	Poor Student presentation is poor. It lacks color and neatness. It is not pleasing to the eye. There is no title on the poster or topic page on the Powerpoint.	Fair Student presentation is fair. It has some color. Information is typed in a font that is difficult to read at a distance.	Good Student presentation is good. It has color and is neat but lacks creativity.	Excellent Student presentation is excellent. It is colorful, neat, and attractive.
Organization of Pictures	Poor Student was not prepared and had 3 or fewer pictures and were a poor choice for the topic.	Fair Student was somewhat prepared and had 4-6 pictures which may not have related well to the topic.	Good Student was prepared with 7-9 pictures that were related in part to the topic.	Excellent Student was well prepared with 10 or more pictures that related well to the topic.
Organization of Facts	Poor Student has 5 or fewer facts on the topic.	Fair Student is able to give between 6-10 facts on the topic.	Good Student is able to give 11-15 facts on the topic.	Excellent Student has 20 or more facts.
