Student shows little understanding of the basic concepts. The student only understand 5 of the eight ideas.
Level 2
Student shows a partial understanding of the basic concepts. The student forgot two of the eight ideas needed to explain.
Level 3
Student shows a good understanding of the basic concepts. Student only forgot one of the eight ideas, such as how to make the four pulley systems, the effort needed, how much rope is needed, and the advantage the pulley gives the user.
Level 4
Student shows an excellent understanding of the basic concepts.
They show how to build all four pulleys, how much effort is needed to lift the load compared to the ropes attached to the load, how much rope is needed, and what advantage it gives the user.
