	Poor 5 pts	Fair 10 pts	Good 15 pts	Excellent 20 pts
Knowledge of Choreography	Poor Remembers a few of the steps/ movements and tries, but looks lost and out of sync with others.	Fair Demonstrates some knowledge of choreography, but unsure of some movements. Sometimes hesitates/ watches others and makes some errors	Good Demonstrates good knowledge of choreography. Keeps up with group. Few errors.	Excellent Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the choreography and does it well.
Body Alignment	Poor The dancer is not very focused, concentrated or committed to body alignment.	Fair The dancer is generally focused, but only some attempt made to focus on body alignment.	Good The dancer shows outstanding effort to properly align the body in movement.	Excellent The dancer maintained proper alignment throughout the sequence.
Rhythm/Tempo	Poor Attempts to keep a rhythm, but gets off beat and speeds up or falls behind often. Doesn't follow beat in music.	Fair Shows a basic understanding of tempo and beat, but falls behind and/or speeds up in places or makes errors in rhythm.	Good Generally accurate in beat, tempo, rhythms of dance sequences most of the time.	Excellent Shows a complete understanding of tempo and beat and stays on rhythm throughout the sequence.
Pride	Poor Work reflects very little effort on the part of this student. Student enthusiasm is low.	Fair Work reflects okay effort from this student. The student shows some interest for their work.	Good Work reflects a good effort from the student. The student is generally enthusiastic.	Excellent Work reflects the strong efforts of the student. The student is enthusiastic and positive.
Performance Skill	Poor The dancer is not very focused, concentrated or committed to performance.	Fair The dancer is generally focused, but only some attempt made to connect with the audience.	Good The dancer focuses well and makes some connections with the audience through eye contact and body expression.	Excellent The dancer is able to engage the audience completely through their performance.
