Excellent Writer exceeds or fulfills the requirements by writing fully detailed sentences in Chinese and has put care and effort into the process. Topic is discussed thoroughly.	Good Writer included somewhat detailed sentences. Most information on topic included.	Fair Writer has included some or a few detailed sentences, leaving out key components of the writing prompt.	Poor Incomplete coverage of topic.
Comprehensibility Correct sentence patterns and grammatical structures	Excellent Reader can always understand what the writer is trying to communicate. Chinese vocabulary and sentence patterns are used correctly. No mistakes are found.	Good Reader can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate. Mostly correct use of Chinese vocabulary and sentence patterns. Less than 2 mistakes are found.	Fair Reader can understand less than half of what writer is trying to communicate. Incorrect use of vocabulary and sentence patterns. More than 3 mistakes are found.	Poor Multiple errors in vocabulary and sentence pattern usage. Incomprehensible throughout writing.
