Research	Poor (C) Student does a poor job on research meaning she does no research on dogs.	Fair (B) Student shows fair amount of effort in researching. Meaning she does minimum research about benefit of dog adoption.	Good (A) Student does a good job at researching, meaning she found a couple of good informational articles on certain aspects of dog adoption	Great (A+) Student does a great job at researching, meaning she found a wide range of great, informational sources, which she can apply to her project.
Effort	Poor (C) Student doesn't try that hard to get a dog adopted. For example, instead of going to a adoption event every week or when they can, they go once a month or less.	Fair (B) Student goes to adoption events often but doesn't try that hard to get dogs adopted when she's there.	Good (A) Student goes to adoption events as often as possible. At adoption events student mostly tries to get as much dogs adopted as possible.	Great (A+) Student goes to adoption events almost every week or as often as possible. At adoption events student tries extremely hard to get as much dogs adopted as possible.
Success	Poor (C) At adoption events student gets no dogs adopted. At each event student makes no progress.	Fair (B) At adoption events student gets one dog adopted. Student barely progressed from previous events.	Good (A) At adoption events student gets 2 dogs adopted. Student moderately progresses from each previous event. Folllow up	Poor (C) Student has no one to follow up with because student didn't get a dog adopted.	Fair (B) Student has one adopted dog owner to follow up with and fairly often checks on the impact of the dog on their new family.	Good (A) Student follows up on both adopted dogs families when possible. Student records both positive and negative feedback.	Great (A+) Student follows up with all adopted dogs families very often. Student records both positive and negative feedback and also gives advice in follow ups.
