Math Book Outline You will create your math book outline to help you to prepare for your final product. Be sure you follow all instructions from the project information sheet. This rubric is NOT the rubric that will used to grade your project but rather to grade your OUTLINE. Topic	Excellent work Great topic, completely relates to and expands on a topic we have studied.	Good work Good related topic that covers what we have discussed about this subject.	Satisfactory Somewhat related topic, but doesn't add to what we have talked about very much in class.	Could be better Topic is not really related to what we have learned in 7th grade Pre-Alegra.
Content (Accuracy)	Excellent work All facts/word problems are accurate.	Good work Four (4) out of the five (5) facts/story problems are accurate.	Satisfactory Three (3) out of the five (5) facts/story problems are accurate.	Could be better Less than two (<2) out of the five facts/story problems are accurate.
Graphics (Pictures)	Excellent work Graphics go well with the text and there is a good mix of text and graphics.	Good work Graphics go well with the text, but they tend to dominate the overall appeal of the page.	Satisfactory Graphics go well with the text but are very unclear and/or are oddly placed on the page.	Could be better There are little to no graphics or they do not match the topic chosen.
Mechanics (Concepts)	Excellent work Concepts/problems are written with the correct symbols as they would appear in a math textbook, and are completely free of errors.	Good work Problems/concepts work out correctly, but have 1 or 2 errors in formatting or the symbols being used.	Satisfactory Problems may have 1 or 2 errors in format and/or incorrect answers.	Could be better Problems/concepts are not written correctly (i.e. with numbers and/or symbols) and do not relate to the topic.
