Volleyball Skill- Serve Volleyball Skill- Serve The students must demonstrate proper form for either an over head serve or an underhand serve. The ball must be tossed in the air, hit above the head, and the arm must follow through once the ball has been hit for the over head serve. The ball must be held in one hand, hit with the other (waist high), and their striking arm must follow through once the ball has been hit for the underhand serve. Over Head Form	Low Ball was tossed in the air, but not hit above the head. Students arm did not follow through the serve.	Medium Ball was tossed in the air and hit above the head. Students arm did not follow through the serve.	High Ball was tossed in the air and hit above the head. Students arm followed through the serve.
Underhand Form	Low Ball was held waist high, but hit incorrectly. Students arm did not follow through the serve.	Medium Ball was held waist high and hit correctly. Students arm did not follow through the serve.	High Ball was held waist high and hit correctly. Students arm followed through the serve.
Accuracy	Low Serve was not accurate and did not hit the target area.	Medium Serve was accurate, but did not hit the target area.	High Serve was accurate and hit the target area.
