Content	Beginning Step Information is not accurate, lacks proper research.	Approaching Standards Information has errors that show student's lack of understanding of prompt.	Meets Standards Student shows clear understanding of material and effectively answers prompt with specific time period(s) and region(s). Possibly 1-2 errors in factual information that do not detract from overall work.	Exceeds Standards Student shows clear understanding of material and effectively answers prompt with specific time period(s) and region(s) through evident research. There are no errors in factual information.
Grammar/ Spelling	Beginning Step Multiple spelling and/or grammar errors that significantly detract from overall work.
