	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Punctuality	Poor Student did not arrive to meeting spot.	Fair Student arrived to meeting spot on time with prompts.	Good Student arrived to meeting spot on time without prompts.	Excellent Student arrived to meeting spot on time, but not too early (more than 10 minutes).
Preparedness	Poor Student did not have necessary materials.	Fair Student had necessary materials out with prompts.	Good Student had necessary materials out without prompts.	Excellent Student had their own personal necessary materials out and ready to begin class, without prompts. Student did not borrow anything from another individual.
Promptness Complete means 100% of the work is done. Does not need to be completely accurate.	Poor Student did not turn homework assignments in on time.	Fair Student turned homework assignments in on time with prompts.	Good Student turned homework assignments in on time without prompts.	Excellent Student turned homework assignments in on time, without prompts, and assignment was complete.
Propriety Remains focused, quietly attentive, limits conversation to lesson topics, and leaves class for appropriate reasons and at appropriate times.	Poor Student did not demonstrate propriety.	Fair Student demonstrated propriety with prompts.	Good Student demonstrated propriety without prompts.	Excellent Student demonstrated propriety without prompts, and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
Participation Asks questions and provides responses that are on topic. Student listens to contributions of others in the class and is comfortable speaking with the instructor and classmates.	Poor Student did not participate in class.	Fair Student participated in class with prompts.	Good Student participated in class without prompts.	Excellent Student participated in class without prompts. Participated by taking notes, asking/answering questions.
