Teacher is usually in early and ready to teach; lesson plans are clearly mapped out prior to class; time is used wisely; classroom and teacher desk are usually neat and in order.
Excellent

Teacher is in class early and ready to teach; lesson plans are clearly mapped out a week in advance; time is used very efficiently; classroom and teacher desk are kept neat and in order.
Presentation

Poor

Teacher is rarely or never enthusiastic or motivating; teacher does not appeal to student interests; teacher does not engage the class.
Good

Teacher is enthusiastic and motivating most of the time; teacher tries to appeal to student interest frequently; teacher engages most of the students.
Excellent

Teacher is very enthusiastic; teacher motivates students to want to learn; teacher appeals to student interests; teacher engages the whole class.
Accessibility

Poor

Teacher is scarcely or never available after school for parents or students; teacher does not send home letters or make phone calls unless negative; teacher is not involved in school-wide activities or committees.
Good

Teacher is available some days after school for parents or students; teacher sends letters and makes phone calls occasionally (both positive and negative); teacher gets involved in school-wide activities or committees occasionally.
Excellent

Teacher is always available after school for parents or students; teacher sends letters and makes phone calls frequently (both positive and negative); teacher gets involved in school-wide activities or committees frequently.
