Read Across America Door Decoration Contest 
This is the rubric we will use to judge the Valentine's Day door decorating contest. ***Guidelines: Classes should design doors that reflect the Hero Theme -Classes may decorate their doors starting 2/25-2/28/2013 -Judging will begin at 8:00 a.m.Friday, March 1st. Non-classroom staff will conduct the judging and the winner will be announced at the end of the day during announcements. -All door decorations must come from within the school or your classroom. IF students have materials they would like to donate that they already have at school that will be fine. Students are encouraged to help and come up with a creative idea to show heroes in their lives, heroes in stories, or Local Heroes. Please specify which class period is decorating the door because the winning door will receive Pizza Party. Judging: Primary (pk-2), Intermediate (3-5) and Middle (6-8).
