Grip Student is using laces on football, ball is not too deep in hand, point of football is slightly up, thumb is wrapped around ball	Did not Do Did not Do	Beginning Student shows a grip, but its not one that was taught to the class	Developing Student try's a good grip, but can't maintain it	Proficient Student shows a good grip, but isn't using the threads	Excelling Student has good grip using threads
Opposite Foot/Step Student points at target with opposite shoulder and hip of non throwing hand. Student uses BACK leg to drive off when throwing	Did not Do Did Not Do	Beginning Student attempts but isn't pointing either shoulder or hip or throwing off correct foot.	Developing The student shows 2 of 4 characteristics.	Proficient Student shows all of the characteristics except one	Excelling Student Properly points opposite shoulder and hip to target, pushes off correct foot
