Main Idea and Supporting Details
Students will use a graphic organizer to demonstrate knowledge of main idea and supporting details while using an expository text of "Veterans Day". The main idea and details will then be put together in a paragraph which will consist of the main idea and a summary of supporting evidence. The student will include at least three to four supporting details.
