Reflective Writing
	Strong 4 pts	Average 3 pts	Weak 1 pts
Complete	Strong Student has answered all questions following directions of complete sentences or paragraphs.	Average Student has answered all questions but has not used complete sentences or paragraphs when asked	Weak Student has not answered all questions.
Grammar	Strong Grammar is perfect or near perfect. Any grammar errors present do not impede reading or confuse understanding	Average Grammar is average. There are mistakes, they are consistent, and may cause confusion in understanding.	Weak Grammar errors make the writing hard to read or are remedial mistakes. Not capitalizing "I" or misuse of common terms.
Spelling	Strong No spelling errors found. Exemplary piece of writing	Average A few spelling errors, mainly on uncommon words or commonly misspelled words.	Weak Many spelling errors which make the piece hard to read and on common words.
Effort	Strong Student's writing demonstrates an investment of time to truly reflect on their learning, their videos, and what more they want to learn.	Average Student's writing has met the standard but does no demonstrate a true desire to learn from reflecting on their work. Answers are basic, they are not reflective answers.	Weak Student's writing demonstrates a lack of attention to completing the work. Work was turned in, but falls far below the expected standard of high school writing and reflecting.
