Camera Operation

Basics The student is able to charge camera, replace battery and turn the camera on and off.	4 Project is complete. The broadcast includes station identification and sign-off, PSA, news stories, feature story and sports.	3 Project may be incomplete. The broadcast includes most of the following: station identification and sign-off, PSA, news stories, feature story and sports.	2 Can do some of the start-up basics.	1 Is not able to do the start-up basics.
View Screen Functions The student is able to navigate the the view screen, knowing where to find battery life, HD space, playback, and edit functions.	4 The broadcast is completed and is almost 5- minutes long.	3 The broadcast is short but it is at less than 5-minutes long. And is completed.	2 Understands some of the icons on the view screen.	1 Does not understand how tho read the icons on the view screen.
Edit Functions The stundent will be able to change the clock setting, aspect ratio, mic level and record mode.	4 The Students will have some B-Roll and Packages created .	3 The students will have B-roll or Packages, but not both.	2 Can navigate through some of the functions in the camcorder.	1 Cannot navigate the edit functions in the camcorder.
