Hand Sewing	Wow Hand sewing is done correctly. Stitches are correct length and width apart. Knots are invisible.	Almost There Most of the stitches are the correct length or width apart.	On the Way Stitches are either too long or too wide apart. The knot is not tight or knotted correctly.	Needs Improvement The stitches are not the correct stitch. Very noticeable.
Overall Apperance	Wow The project looks very neat and shows that care was taken with details.	Almost There There are one or two stray threads.	On the Way Pieces are not cut neatly.	Needs Improvement The project does not look neat. Care was not taken with details.
Embllishments	Wow Embellishments are attached securely and straight. The stitching is neat and even. They are placed in an appropirate place on project.	Almost There Embellishments are attached a little off from where the directions say. They are a little crooked or not completely secure.	On the Way Embellishments are not attached securely and/or are attached crooked. Stitching is not neat and even. They are not placed in the appropriate spot on the project.	Needs Improvement No embellishments were attempted.
Managing Work Time	Wow Student was on task and accountable for their time.	Almost There Student was on task most of the time during sewing lab.	On the Way Student was redirected several times to stay on task.	Needs Improvement Student had difficulty staying on task.
Creating/Design	Wow Student took time and paid attention to measurements and design procedures.	Almost There Student showed effort in trying to utilize design skills.	On the Way Student needs continued work with creating/design skills.	Needs Improvement Student was not involved in the design process.
